Hi Copen-owners! I'm looking for both rear shock absorbers for this car. Here in Norway the dealers say that absorbers for this car is out of stock - and has been for many years. So my question is: Where to buy (world wide)? What is the OE-number? Are there aftermarket parts? Hopefully somebody can help me!

Thanks @APPLEDjerry for answering. I'll send the German Ebay seller a message. On the other hand - it's a bit strange that these shock absorbers should be so difficult to find. Daihatsu made a lot of micro cars - and I believe that some of them had to share parts List of Daihatsu vehicles - Wikipedia I think I have to measure the excisting shocks from top to toe - and see if there are brands with the same dimensions. I'll let you know

Updates... I've been in contact with Germany and Autohaus Jarvers GmbH (sales-ontop@t-online.de phone +49 257197165) Here they are online Lieferant für TOYOTA, LEXUS, SUZUKI u. DAIHATSU Ersatzteile & Zubehör Hopefully... Hopefully: crossing my fingers, toes and split-tongue - and this is the right ones: 2 x DAI 48531-B2400 STOSSDAEMPFER HINTEN. Another way... - to check is of course, as mentioned before - to take the old ones and measure them - and then start searching for shocks with the same data (length, diameter inside and outside and so on). I guess there are other car brands that use the same shocks.
Case closed because the germans gave me the right ones. So now Copen is running with OEMs in the rear.
