I was wondering how many of you actually hear your blow off valve working?

When Dawn lets me drive "Waspy" I tend to drive it like I stole it (unlike Dawn) and can often hear the BOV working as I am accelerating and then changing gear etc.

Also, does anyone use torque lite and could tell me what readings I should be looking at for the turbo and at what Rev range?

    Cheers and happy driving

The standard one is a plumb back type.
You probably wont hear it much if you have a standard airbox.
With the roof down I can just hear mine.
ITs louder with a pod filter.

I never used to notice it until after i did an oil and filter change.

Maybe i hear it now because i am listening for it.

Might be worth checking you didn't knock any pipes loose when servicing.
Although I often hear noises after a service might just be paranoia :)

It is only happening when i "off throttle" which is when it should work. Maybe the fresh oil actually allowed the turbo to spin properly and create boost. I dread to think how long the old oil had been in before we bought it and i serviced it.
