    A DAIHATSU COPEN 0.7cc AUTOMATIC / TIPTRONIC 2003
Bought on the 20th April up in Chesterfield Derbyshire, a dream 311.06 mile drive home (on one tank) to St Austell, Cornwall after seeing one parked in my local ASDA
Now I have figured out all on the dash, sorted out the electric windows (main not the small windows) boot release, petrol cap bonnet release,
Now the roof, dont want to touch any buttons that might 'screw' up something so i am desperate to understand how it works
plus tyre presures , oil, water, screen-wash, petrol capacity, etc, etc,.
So either I learn Japanese ( as everythingis in the language of the Copens 'birth') or find an owners manual
any help will be very mch appreciate Thanks Peter

    Welcome.
To open the boot push the button inside the centre console. Make sure that the roller blind type thing in the boot is in place before you try to put the roof down down. Release both catches inside the car which are above your head and your passengers - move the sun visors out of the way. Push the button which is between both seats and the windows then roof will retract - you will hear a beep when it has finished retracting. You may find this link useful for putting the quarter windows up Well, I never knew that!
Tyre pressures should be on a sticker on the door pillar.
Manuals are available to download from this site. Plus lots of help/knowledge from this site. So many helpful people on here with expert knowledge.
Hope you enjoy your Copen, have been out in mine today and can't help but smile....

Gwyn great. Thanks for letting me know someone is out there in Copenworld
A bit confused about the "link" and the small windows
Also does the same button that opens the roof reverse it? I understand the blind thing in the boot.
I've been searching each day in ASDA hoping the one in Cornwall turns up

    Hi Peter.
Yes, the same button does both jobs - pull it upwards for the roof to go down and push it down for the roof to go up. The small windows are easily put up by pressing the little clips as shown in the link at the same time as the window button. Have been out again today - rude not to with such beautiful weather.
