Anyone needing to secure the services of an alloy wheel courier I can wholeheartedly recommend you do NOT use Paisley Freight.

At £28.99 for 4 wheels and tyres anywhere in the UK the price is pretty good. The problem for me started when they picked up four wheels but only delivered three. Yep, they lost an original copen alloy.

These things happen I guess. Unlucky?, probably, but it was such a hassle after that trying to get the compensation payment. Ended up taking something like twenty emails back and forward. They kept quoting different parts of their terms and conditions (which contradicted each other) They only seemed interested in how little they could get away with and it just became hard work. Eventually got to a point where I had actually filled out claims paperwork to submit with the courts, when they relented and paid out. Won't be using them again.

Luckily I managed to get a spare from a breakers because we all know how rare these things are.

Shocking. How can they loose part of something they picked up in full & try & get out of their liability due to small print! They're a courier company after all & it's their job to deliver in it full! Not three quarters of it!

Too many companies try to wriggle out of their obligations these days & it seems they just assume you'll give up chasing them eventually. Good for you for not giving up but bloody hell its a hassle & a faff to get what you've paid for these days sometimes.

They were treating it as a 75% delivery so were offering 25% of the purchase price only. I was of the opinion the delivery wasn't fulfilled. It's not like its for a robin reliant. 3 wheels and a few quid doesn't make it a set. That's like saying if I bought a racehorse and they broke one of its legs then 25% of the price refunded would do about right. Nonsense. Anyways, all sorted now but as I said it was really hard work and it shouldn't be like that.
