I'd personally take it to Daihatsu. Get them to diagnose the fault & give an estimate to fix it.
OMG! 7000 miles in 5/6 years! How could anyone resist a Copen sitting on your drive wanting to be driven in the sun with the top down.
If your buying the engine from a breakers yard. You could buy the clocks off the car too. Swap them over.
