I didn't have to remove anything. It's just a cover & sits over the original part.
You just slip it over the handbrake. 30 second job. Dead simple compared to the armrest cover.

The location of my sub woofer is in 1993 when 'Jungle was Massive' My taste in music has evolved to Classical FM which doesn't need a sub woofer :D
