Yet another boot thread (extra stuck, blue hooks + chord don't work)

    Hi everyone!

I know there's a million threads about stuck boots already, but mine seems to be extra stuck. Every other thread has people coming to a point where they figure out the two blue hooks in the back and/or the little chord in the center console. I did all that. I have both blue hooks pulled and I yanked the center chord with all my might, but the boot is still entirely stuck. I hear something move/disengage when I pull the double blue hooks and I turn them 90 degrees to lock them in but it doesn't actually open anything.

This is an issue because I need to access my roof ECU, which is in turn probably the reason my boot isn't opening (constant red light, code 51 and 81 and soaked carpets under the seats so probably water damaged/shorted).

Is there a way to open the boot when the blue hooks and pull chord aren't working? Can I remove some body panels? Also, is my pull chord supposed to look like this? Is it too far out? Is it stuck in the "out" position perhaps? I pull it but it doesn't actually move.

Any help is very much appreciated!
