Who needs a fuel cap cover when the inside can look better. Sat on the floor and had some fun this teatime. Wiped out and even polish with me Turtle Wax. Was even tempted to get the dremel with a little polishing head.
As a side point, I know where they get musk from a Musk Deer but where does the wax come out of from a Turtle? Answers on a postcard to...

Just look at that for a sticker!! I think I'll leave flap open and show it off :)

When I'm filling up with fuel at the garage next I'll be pointing at it for other fillers to notice! oh yes. shine baby shine.

Why I did this was because I was polishing under the passenger sill cover. Doesn't everybody?

I was wiping clean and polishing round the edge of the door as well. I thought it would help it keep clean. Plus under the cover were 3 rust marks. But after a rub with my finger them went away. I think it was actually 3 small steel fragments that were trapped and rusting. Better gone than there though. Driver's side to do but not fuel cap that side :(

Also cleaned and polished behind the seam cover, just in case I'm inspected or someone wants a look. But f@#k!! the clip fell in the sill as I was putting it back on. I think I should have removed it first. So I can't put it back on now. But at least I can show off how shiny it is with the petrol cap recess.

Makes the car look like I've got a bludee cut and shut!

Kept him out of trouble. He has far too much time on his hands.:D

The steel sill covers that some folk fit on their cars? Do they go over the black plastic original covers or are the plastics removed first before fitting the metal ones?

Its called good time management and multitasking, then you have! :)

I think they are smaller metal plaques that stick on the plastic on the area towards the front of the car.

I want some! been told no more in Japan. So anybody want to sell theirs?
