Hello, Well, I think you'd call it a hubcap! had 4 new tyres put on my Copen yesterday and the guy who fitted them handed me one of the small caps that clips on to the centre of the alloys (looks like it could be a Daihatsu medallion ) He said the other 3 clipped back on with no problem but this one is loose and wont stay in.... not really sure why he took them off - he must of had a reason! So rather than trying to glue it in I thought I'd see if I can get a replacement one... Any ideas where to get one from? Thanks John
They come up on eBay sometimes, but I can't see any at the moment. Otherwise you could try an ex daihatsu dealer, they might be able to order one from Japan.
Do you mean these, you may need to check they are the correct size? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DAIHATSU-...134739?hash=item3d0b275f53:g:DNkAAOSw~bFWM9mK
How about these? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DAIHATSU-...375289?hash=item1a1039d539:g:9-kAAOSw2ENW7YVu http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DAIHATSU-...359750?hash=item1a10399886:g:Z-0AAOSws4JW7YGj
He may have had to take the centres out when balancing the wheels - it depends on the machine. Most dynamic balancers have a locking shaft that must go through the centre of the wheel.
The guys who still Daihatsu parts from the dealers will have these in stock. Bought them before There's a list on this forum somewhere of remaining daihatsu part sources/sellers
