Are you hoping for any Copen related present this year? I know I'm getting a pair of ramps with extenders for 'low clearance cars' so I can see whats happening underneath and a set of red car mats. Hum, I may regret choosing red. I've also got some LED lights to fit to the footwell - a job for the better weather I think. What about you? Rex.
Chrome grills on my wish list too. Plus the chrome latch covers for the roof. There's many more things I'd like to buy if I get a bit of cash.
Good stuff for a Copen? Hi all, On the subject of bits/stuff for a Copen, where is the best place to shop? Would you be able to suggest some good internet sites? Thanks in advance, Lotuseater
These are the ones I know of; http://shop.chromdesign.de/index.ph....html&XTCsid=27c8ef2030f9bdcb8a819108f23eba97 http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/category.php?carNumber=33304&carMake=Copen
I agree with Adam, Chromdesign is a great place to shop. I have many items from them, and always found them to offer good quality. I found these vent rings are very good for a bit of tarting up. But my favourite has to be the chrome grill - very well made. See this thread for some pictures. The only one thing I wasn't over impressed with from them was these door handle surrounds. Not so easy to fit and didn't add much. Don't forget ebay. My gaiter came from there. See this thread. Rex.
Thanks guys, Very useful, will consider all when the weather improves and I manage to unwrap the Copen. Exhausts - what advise would you give? - fancy something with a brighter note, a little more throaty! Thanks, Lotusater.
I'd recomend a custom built Cat back stainless system from a Powerflow stockist. http://www.powerflowexhausts.co.uk/ I understand a system for the Copen is cheaper than buying a genuine Daihatsu replacement. I had a system made at my local dealer for my old Cappuccino. It was very good. They can make the exhaust as loud or quiet as you want. Plus you'll be able to chose a style of end pipe.
Just fitted a leather cover on the lid of the centre console. Bought on ebay and took no more than 3/4 hour to fit. All you need to do is unscrew and the rest is clips. A spot of leather glue, bought on ebay for £5 and job done. There is a picture on the listing which is spot on to how mine looks. The red stiching looks good with the red leather. Ref. 230563919720
I was tempted by this too. There gear lever gaiter is spot on. Can you post a picture of yours fitted?
