Does anyone have any recommendations on BoVs, and how to replace them?

a wastegate is different to a blow off valve. Are you wanting to change to a different bov or just fit a new one?

Ok, I'm confusing "dump valve" with "waste gate".

I'm thinking about changing to a new bov, so I can hear the pffft / pissh sound - so a different, after market, bov

Thanks Adam! What was the cost of the BoV, overall (item, postage and tax)?

Sweet! Anything this side of the world? I'd rather not go with one of the universal bovs

    Finally bought the R SS

Do you have to put the little sound deadening cover on her for the MOT?

Do you have to manual adjust the spring, or is that already done?

Any tricky issues installing, or gotcha's?

    Nope never fitted the cover.
    No adjustment required.
Just don't loose any of the hose clips when you swap the old one out.
Take photos of the factory set up, where hoses go to. Then if you decide to sell in the future you can remove the flash one & you'll be able to re-fit the factory setup.

    30,000 JPY for this one - http://www.k-takeoff.com/catalog/other/blow_off_valvess.htm

That equates to 230 EUR or 169 GBP. Excluding delivery, customs, etc. I bought this exact model via Jesse Streeter, and I think it was about 240 EUR all in.
