Have read the great buyers guide posted on here. Off to look at one this week but its a high miler 100thou on it.its the o.6l model It is supposedly got a fsh so will have to check , thats a lot of 3000 mile services. Ad also states it had a new turbo 3 yrs ago? are these engines ok for high miles oh and how much are they to tax for 12 mts uk? cheers
too much rust ,and the so called fsh was no where near.It was a high miler which didnt bother me if the history had been there. Will keep looking though ,ive got me heart set on one now ,might just take time to get the right one
copens suffer with rust so its something to expect to see when viewing one but of course get one with as little as possible so it can be sorted out
Sympathies, Hiramscodd, but you're right to take your time: finding the right one is well worthwhile. As we move further into autumn prices will slide a little and unexpected gems will appear with fewer hopefuls fighting over them. If you're prepared to travel, you'll get the right one. Thank heavens for t'internet! Gone are the days of waiting outside the newsagent at 5am on a Thursday morning for the new issue of Autotrader - now a deep trawl of Google throws up ace sites like Trovit, Pre-Loved, even local papers, so you and your Copen-to-be will get together!
