I've been looking forward to rebuild the 660cc JBDET in the Copen and still sourcing for upsize/forged piston. Anyone with any experience of finding suitable larger piston kit and head gasket?

There's the JC-DET engine, that's the same size bore though but a 61mm stroke, making it 713cc. That's off the Storia X4 rally car, I don't know where you might get hold of the bits for that though.

Nah i'm not planning to hunt for the stroked up version (JC). That part is scarce and people are asking for a premium for it. I've stumble across this Japanese brand Half Way (HALF WAY|コペン φ65.5鍛造ピストンキット) and they do produce the piston kit in 65.5mm (from 61mm) but I dont think I want to go that much bore (thinning the cylinder wall to extreme). So i'm still up for options of any owner has got experience with other solution.

There might be something that helps on here, if you can stand the nonsense that Google translate turns Japanese into heh. It's a Copen specialist garage in Japan that has a few cars racing from what I can make out, looks like they have a couple close to 200bhp. エンジン | コペン専門店も。ファク
