After buying a Copen this year the first upgrade i promised myself was to underseal the car before the onset of winter. After a web search I found Preserve & Protect (Car Underseal, Rust Proofing & Prevention Scotland - Preserve Protect) in Glasgow who done a great job, dropped it off on a Saturday morning and picked up the following Saturday. The guys provided full before, during and after photos during the job and as a bonus, found where the oil filter is in one photo . BTW cost was £600
Looks good, and also reminds me that I should have put pictures up for my copen's recent underseal work. Done a couple of months ago by Rust Proofing Auto Care (Welcome to Rust Proofing Autocare 4x4 and Camper Van specialists). The place is just outside Denny - half way between Glasgow and Edinburgh - and normally works on 4x4 but was more that happy to do the copen. A small set up with very enthusiastic people, the proofing used Dinatrol and came in at £400. Hopefully it will keep the tin worm at bay for a few more years. I also think the car is running more quietly, either the proofing dampings some of the resonance or my hearing's going. Before : After :
