The UK scrappage scheme which offers a £2000 trade-in against a new car is now drawing to a close. The scheme is due to end on 31st March 2010, or earlier if allocated funds run out before then. Strangely, Daihatsu is one of the car manufacturers signed up for the final stages of the scheme, even though it's now getting very difficult to find a new Daihatsu for sale in this country. It must be very frustrating for anyone trying to take advantage of the scheme before it closes!
