Hi I have 04 Copen which has the original wheels fitted with 165/50 x 15 Bridgestone Potenza tyres which will need replacing later this year.

Just wondering if anyone has fitted wider lower profile tyres to the standard wheels?

I'll be replacing my tyres soon but I won't be going to a lower profile - it's bumpy enough as it is !!

I decided to stick with the standard and just had a set of 4 Bridgestone Potenza tyres fitted by Kwikfit for £199.

    £199 isn't bad. Iwas quoted £240.

Normally I would say Quikfit are expensive but not this time.

    Thanks for the information.

The trick with Kwikfit is to order AND PAY on line. I was quoted over £270 at the local kwikfit depot, Ordered then on line and had them fitted in the same depot for £199. I guess the depot gets a commission on sales they make hence the price difference.

Here is a code for 1/2 price alignment at K Fit.

    KFGC-WA50-2010

I tried it today and it works.

    An update....
Two Bridgestones plus tracking cost me £111.77 at K Fit.
The only point I'm not completely happy with is after the tracking was done, the steering wheel is now a degree or two off centre when driving straight ahead.
I did go back, but they said there was nothing wrong! It's not bad, but just a little annoying to me.

I know it's difficult to win an arguement with these people but I'd still be back. How dare they tell you an obvious misalignment is acceptable.

it's an insult to your intelligence in my opinion.

Can try 195/45/R15. Looks nicer and handles bends and corners much better.

I'm using Falken Azenis ST115; So far so good, though i'm looking to further cut down on noise.
Or maybe its not the tire fault.
