Since a few months my Copen makes a whistling noise when accelerating!
Is the end of my turbocharger near? Did anyone encountered this already.
    Thnx. Werner

    Hi
Mine was making weird whistling swirling sounds under load - then going up a hill it went 'pffssst!', like unplugging an air line hose - and I lost power

What I discovered was the induction hose had split and come apart so no pressure was entering the engine - the turbo itself is fine

    Phew!

I've ordered the part from my dealer but it needs to come from Japan, in the meantime I've done a temporary fix using some 31mm outside diametre metal pipe and jubilee clips - took it for a good run yesterday and it's holding up well
    Regards
    Andy

My Copen made a similar sound. It was simply because one of the clips holding the air filter lid had broken which stopped the lid being closed and sealed properly, which then allowed unfiltered air to be sucked in.

OK I hope it is only a small thing you two mentioned, but I don't loose power yet.
I will bring it to the mecanic.
