Just want to know some info about everyones turbo on the 700cc model. When you are going along at a low rev range (round about 2000 RPM) and you put your foor right down, When does the boost come in and when does the boost no longer pulls. currently im getting boost around 3000RPM and after 5500 - 6000 there is no boost left. Just want to know if its any different for anyone else as I think my new bov is kicking pressure out before it dumps

That sounds about right but the reason boost drops off at high revs is because turbo is too small and is strangling the motor.
Better air cleaner and exhaust may improve things a little but a bigger turbo is only real fix.

The BOV is triggered by a vacuum when the throttle is closed, it's not rev related.

Thanks for your reply Jez. Ive had my car parked up since last september and since then have put a custom made wide arch kit on and swapped out the blown turbo for a new one. Changed the bov, the intercooler pipes and intercooler is next. Just wanted to make sure everything is ok as not drive my car for a year.
