Adam was the Cappu fast? I read somewhere recently is was 8 something seconds 0 to 60 but its only got the same power as the Copen turbo.
The published figure of 0-60 in 8 seconds was optimistic by Suzuki. Actually it was more like 11 seconds. However the Cappuccino was faster as it is lighter. Perfect weight distribution & rear wheel drive. The later Japanese models also had LSD. I loved the car, the only problem was that it had a worse rust problem than the Copen. I had a genuine Suzuki Sports ECU fitted to mine, which got rid of the speed limiter (86). Increasing torque & horse power.
Hubby's attempting to fit the tonneau cover. Can anyone please post a close up pic of the yellow hook in the boot that the covers elastic strip deelie attaches to please. Ta muchly in advance
Try this thread quibbles........ https://www.copenworld.com/vb3/showthread.php?t=651&highlight=Tonneau
Thanks yes he's seen that thread. He could still do with a side view pic of the yellow hook so he can estimate the dimensions.
have to say, i've taken my tonneau cover out of it's pack, looked at it and put it back in again. given that most of these cars dont have one it occurs to me that it's totally unnecesary - so perhaps mine will be on ebay soon unless anyone has a good reason to use it? - what exactly is the point?
It looks nice seems to be the main use. Keeping dust out of the boot in a hot dusty country is another use, not really a problem in the uk.
It does look really smart when it's on. Of course ours isn't fixed on yet but it's going to look really swish when it is
It wasn't a lot of effort in the end because Scooty put us in touch with someone who had the right parts so John didn't have to make the attachments from scratch. It took him half an hour this morning to fit it. Yes it's taken him since the meet to get round to it
