There's a tonneau cover for sale on ebay at the moment. Have tried to copy the link (unsuccessfully!) ;-)

I've had a look at the sellers other items and he has those chrome covers for just about every car on the road. I think they are one size fits all so not specifically made for the Copen.
He also has around 400 other items for the Copen. Many of them wont actually fit the car, like the exhaust trims which are too small in diameter to fit over the Copens tail pipe. Add to that wheel trims that won't fit over alloy wheels and a dog guard to keep your dog safely in the back. Great, eh? :D

yeah DaG, too many ebays are repeated by sellers of the same item just changing the car it is for. It makes searches full of rubbish.

I had it saved in my-eBay and thought about bidding for it. I decided it was too much hassle to fit it on my 1.3 so decided against it. Nice one quibbles, bet you never use It though.:D

Just had a look at the auction. I'd have only bid the opening bid anyway so I had no chance. Can't believe it went for that amount.

£136! gosh. I was tempted by a tonneau a while back, but when someone made me stop and think about when would I use it. Well it put me off having one. Yes i have the roof down, have done several time this and last month, but most journeys are to work or the shops and don't want to leave roof down while in the shops which are only 5 mins away anyway. Take longer putting it on or taking it off.

Also I've not got the hooks for one!

Used our cover for the whole day today and was the envy of our Copen friends :D
If it was £136, it sounds cheap! Did it come with the hooks for inside the boot to keep it out of the way of the lid when you don't want to use it on a short journey?

Congrats to your new tonneau cover.
You might point your hubby to this thread (cklick me) to get all the details.

Our 1.3 came with the tonneau cover fitted as standard - maybe because it is South African spec? So we have all the clips, hooks, etc. already fitted.

My wife used it a few times - but didn't realise that you need to fit it with the boot lid open  - then close the boot after fitted - so the cover always sat on the outside of the boot lid :(

Now - as Trustafox explained, we seldom - if ever - use it, due to all the faffing around to fit it and remove it. It lives in the house now.

On the other hand, I can see that if you were displaying your highly polished, mirror finish car at a show, then it would complete the look

Well my hubby said it completes the car, which is why he wanted it . We'll see what happens once it turns up.

As an ex-Cappuccino owner, you don't know faffing until you've put the roof down on one. That is a faff.
Fitting the tonneau on the Copen is a dream compared to it.
