it's not just me is it... they are totally crap. not only that, they have a dirty great safety notice written on them - never seen a car with them like this.
I wonder if it's a Japanese car thing? My Cappuccino had warnings on the drivers visor too. I don't think the visors are too bad. If they're not in the right place when the roof is down they do wobble a bit. I think that's down to the scuttle shake as the rear view mirror as vibrates a bit.
My Figaro was the same so it probably is a Japanese thing. It all adds to the character of the car When I went to collect my car the salesman talked me through the special features - rattling roofs, bumpy ride etc. A copen wouldn't be the same without it's little quirks!
You are spot on my friend. Many folk are too engrossed in creating an impression to ever, even ever so slightly mention the little niggles encountered on their own ego eccentric motors. N
My copen came without the visors (It didn't even crossed my mind before buying) and no luck on ebay so ended up with a drive hat instead.
Ha - I do the same! In Australia, it is a defect to remove the sun visors. I luckily found that out during an inspection BEFORE I was to remove them.
Both my visors were drooping; vibration causing them to dip down into the field of view. I removed them and gave a few firm taps on the clip that puts tension on the spring. That fixed it, they stay up now. Just a little thing that can get really annoying after awhile. They do look kinda flimsy, but still seem to work. I don't really need them, since somebody my height has the top bar of the windscreen in his face, anyway.
