I never imagined I would actually find myself linking to a news article in "The Super Soaraway Sun" but there's a first time for everything..... "... there was no doubt about the weirdest stand in Tokyo - DAIHATSU. They had three vehicles called the DECADECA, e:S and BASKET. Deca, which means "roomy" in Japanese, has an upright body with wide-opening doors, lightweight seats and a 660cc engine. It was joined by the e:S, a 700kg city car which Daihatsu claim will deliver 80mpg and lots of room inside. And the basic Basket four-wheel-drive can seat four. But these Daihatsus proved it wasn't just the sushi that looked fishy."
No, and I never thought I'd be reading it, either! Well, at least Daihatsu have made people sit up and take notice - and would it be racist of me to say that the Mazda Kiyora looks distinctly oriental?? (Kiyora - didn't that used to be an orange drink?)
