Hi can anyone help red light for hood inside flashes when i push up on button for hood . Also makes a buzzing noise when i drive along. the boot will open from inside ok in the winter i had alot of water in the boot because the top seal is split at the top .
dwayner I had this happen too - almost exactly. when the roof was put back on after a warm day, or on unlevel ground, it wouldnt quiet close properly and the little sensor on the part on the roof clip, would not connect. i would hit a bump in the road, and it would beep a few times, and also the light would flash red on the button that operates the roof. It comes and goes depending on those two things.
Get it to a garage. Only sure quick way to sort the problem. Trying to figure out the problem for the home remedy is very difficult. It could be a failed sensor, miss-alignment of the panels, dodgy battery or the ECU could be playing up due to the large amount of water that got in. I'm sure I read recently someone's thread with the same issue.
