that are surely not true 1) it has no power steering whatsoever - not hydraulic, not electric 2) it comes without a radio as standard but if you pay for the audio system there's 16 speakers. 16 speakers in the cabin of a copen!? - surely not.
There was a time when Small cars in the uk had no power steering They never used to put power steering on small cars not that long ago as well. Now even the smallest micro car has it when in a lot of cases it isn't necessary. It'll be one of the reasons they have been able to keep the price so low.
I test drove the new Copen a couple of days ago (living in Japan) and can't say whether it has power steering or not, but it certainly felt light enough so I expect it has electric type. Maybe it is not mentioned because it is such a common feature now. As for audio, yes the Japanese term for it is "audioless" as standard. But regarding the speakers, it comes with 16cm door speakers plus tweeters in the A pillars.
ah! that makes sense - guess that's what happens when you read things that have been through auto translation.
Just re-read the catalog and it definitely has electric power assisted steering. Open this link in Chrome browser and run translate on it, it does a reasonable job. https://copen.jp/product/spec
