Hi, I've had my Copen since AUG 2011. I've just now joined the copenworld and looking for nearby owners and service facility referral. I understand these are few and far between since the dealerships have closed down. Driving to down the A21 to from Hastings regularly I see there is a Proton dealer was also a Copen dealer. Anyone know anything about theses guys? Surely there is a more local service to Stansted. Thanks. Geoff
Hi Geoff, Welcome to Copwenworld. You don't really need a maindealer to service the car. There's nothing special or different about the engines. Only if the roof has gone wrong would I go to a dealer. Any ex-Daihatsu dealer should still be able to sell you parts & the knowledge should still be there to service your car if you wish. It's also worth asking a Toyota garage as many of the parts are Toyota branded (have a close look at the middle brake light cover on the boot, it has Toyota on it). Roof adjustment needed! Hi, thanks for your reassurance. I managed to insist upon storing the roof with slightly too much stuff in the trunk... now the top rubs on something when retracted. Kr Geoff
