    Hi
Can anyone recommend an online sources for these?
I have early onset rust on sills and wondered if anyone uses stone guards, which might help prevent worsening situation?

I'd be careful about doing anything that might trap water (or worse still, salty water) next to the sills. It's got to be worth squirting some wax inside the sills and making sure the vents are clear at the bottom.

I would get the sill fixed properly first and then respray. You can always use stone chip paint for the lower section that is exposed to the road but I wouldn’t try and just cover it up as @shane says.
