I was looking at this recently too. For short boss kit, I understand one thing to note is whether the steering wheel can clear the light and wiper control sticks. In my email with the seller, apparently it clears but not so sure if your fingers will constantly hit the sticks. Do share if you have any other recommendations. Thanks!

    Ηι joeleow,
There's the thought to use the combination Carbon and leather to dress the steering wheel of copen, without lose the airbag and I believe like most cheap solution

I am going the classic route and will opt for a wooden steering wheel like this one... on second look... it seems to be on a short boss kit too... :)

what size are you going for? from the japanese translation, the owner states that smaller steering wheels might give a problem with seeing the speedo.

Looks very nice, but what happens to the airbag? I guess it has to be removed.

Not sure if this would be legal in the UK.

For such mods, the airbag cannot be used. :D

You're right but safety comes first for me and I do not think that I will do the change(airbag off), a classic car will always be great but takes a lot of work to achieve good, go for it and GOOD LUCK...:)
