Just making our Copen 'ship shape', we've changed the wheel nuts as the originals were in poor condition, or at least some were, now sporting MX5 nuts.
Toying with getting the originals plated and putting them back on, for now though these look great, I hope!
Prepped the car, silicon lubricated all seals and gullies, treated the seats with a treatment and conditioner and with the exterior getting a few layers of Zaino she's beginning to shine, let's hope the sun does this weekend as we're off to join Nertman at Duxford for her debut show...

I've never heard of zaino, had to look it up. I'm going to wash and wax mine in the morning, nothing as flash as zaino though.:)

Discovered Zaino last year when a friend introduced me to it and it helped turn a 'stealth' paint job on our Figaro into a showroom shine one. Doesn't come cheap, agreed, but the results are stunning, she deserved a treat :)

All quite excited about the day tomorrow, including our friends from Norwich, not just because it looks like a top down opportunity too, it's been a long time coming!

Good to see your finally getting some nice weather over there to have the top down. The opposite is now happening in Australia - not as cold as you guys and certainly no snow, but its getting down to just 15C tomorrow - so no roof coming off this week!

15 degrees is positively balmy :) It doesn't matter what the temperature is, if there is any sign of sun the roof is down:rolleyes: we have to make the most of what we get.

clare, its an odd co-incidence, that the only other person i know in australia with a copen is also called clair, and she has a silver copen, living close to the beach in Melbourne

Had a day out down Seaton Carew and the weather at the coast was great. Loads of convertibles buzzing around but because there was four of us I was driving the wife's Picasso.:(
so there is the disadvantage of a two seater when you have family, you can't use the bloody thing. Had a drive to Homebase late afternoon to buy a strimmer, so got the roof down for a short drive. Better than nothing I suppose.

Both my kids can drive, they have cars and they don't live with us. However we have a 4 year old grandson who I like to spend as much time with as possible. So even without his mother tagging along the Copen is still no good. :(

I know I make my husband drive when we all have to go out, a copen is a good excuse not to be the Mum who picks all the drunk teenagers up from parties though.
