Just ordered the below seatblet guides from http://www.boom-enterprises.com. (email them quoting 'Kumoi Motors Seat Belt Guide for Copen')

The cost including postage from Japan was £104 using paypal. Not cheap I know, but a couple of times I've had people get out of 'Rex' and close the door trapping the seatbelt metal tab in the door! OUCH!

No damage so far, but it's bound to happening.

SO I hope this will be an investment!

Hi Rex, I've seen these guides mentioned before, and I'm seriously considering getting some myself. They certainly look much better than the standard ones.

I'd be very interested to hear how you get on when they arrive. My seatbelts are forever getting snagged, so I'm eager to know if these replacements do a better job.

Update on my seatbelt guide order....

    A little update....
Well the new seat belt guides have still not arrived (3rd Nov)
I ordered them on Friday 23rd October :)
Dispatched from Japan on Monday 26th :)
Arrived at Parcel force on Tuesday 27th :)
Passed through customs on Thursday 29th
Letter received on Monday 2nd saying I owe £15.24 VAT (fair enough) and £13.50 Parcel force clearance fee?? :(

Tried to pay on line - Entered all details c/c numbers etc. Then web site just said error - try again. I did, same result
Tried to pay by automated phone line - Entered all details, took over 5 mins going through the menus then beeeeeep. Call cut off
Rang local Parcel force help line - Lady couldn't help me or confirm if payment had been taken or not. Suggested I ring the national help line.
Rang national help line - Closed
Rang the next day - Still couldn't confirm if payment had been taken or not, but suggested I pay again (or the parcel would not be released) and if I had paid twice, let them know and it will be refunded

So that's it to date. All went okay until Parcel force got involved. The service paid for was "Express 24" - I now think this is 24 days not 24 hours.

Now a total cost of £132.74!! Boy, I hope these guides are worth it.

    Better news today

The guides arrived at last well packed in a lovely box - Almost gift wrapped.
Fitting was easy, although I could not workout where the two supplied square nuts were supposed to go! Very nicely made and chromed.

Do they work? Well, they certainly work better. You have to offer the belt back into the guide to make it retract, but it is position on your shoulder when wearing is much better.

Are they worth the money? I think you will have to decide.

    Rex.

Glad to hear they finally arrived.

Personally I think they look much better, and I'm very tempted to get some myself.

    Hi Rex,

I also have them and they are really quite good and the best lookig ones.

I suggest you mount them not as mentioned in the installation guide but as on the pic; that way the setbelt will not touch the leather when pulling it out or retracting.
