With the winter on it’s way, it going to be mostly ‘top up’ for a few months. I know this is a bit of a daft question, but how much does your roof rattle? A dealer told me, if they are properly adjusted, they don’t rattle. Is this true? My noise seems to come from the linkage that keeps the roof horizontal and is just above your ear when driving! It doesn’t rattle on motorways, but our local roads are a bit bumpier. Also looking the ‘sockets’ front of the roof ‘locators’ they do seem to have a lot adjustment (big holes and small screws). Is there a recommended alignment procedure? I’ve noticed there is very little extra compression on the rubber seal when you engage the front catches. Any thoughts welcome.
