Hi again, I spent about twenty minutes today making a huge improvement to my Copen. I bought silicone gel on Amazon for a fiver, applied a bead to the various roof rubbers, worked it into all the nooks and crannies with my finger, and the result is much less noise from the roof. I previously followed advice on the site about adjusting the roof using the hidden screws (behind the panels around the rear screen), and that made a big difference, and, along with today’s job, and a recent tyre change, the car is transformed. Very happy Copen owner today! The silicone only cost a fiver as mentioned, and is got to be a big recommendation.

That sounds very good! I dislike rattles and creaks and I've been able to address most of them. They sometimes come and go as the change in the seasons temperatures expands and contracts component interfaces.

One roof noise that took a while to figure out was a cracking sound that would only occur when the body was twisted by certain bumps. It turned out to be a corroded roof bolt right next to my ear. I squirted a bit of silicone spray on the threads and tightened it up and again very tight. And now all is quiet.
