The red light is permanently on when ignition is on suggesting roof/boot is ajar but I cannot get the either open. Can anyone suggest somewhere in Surrey I can take it? Thanks

First I would make sure the boot has fully closed, so maybe push down on it on both corners to make sure it was latched properly.

In the armrest storage, there is a plastic flap on the bottom that can be opened with a flat head screwdriver.
Open it and there should be a strap for you to pull. This is the manual release for the boot. The boot should open when you tug on it.

Edit: I just learned that there is a couple of extra steps to take when opening the boot via this method.
This pdf will show you those extra steps.
