    Hi all,

I brought Conan in for a service this morning and when i picked it up there was a really bad ringing noise when lifting off the throttle.
Of course the garage were totally crap and denied any liability.
Does anyone here have any idea of what it could be?
I've uploaded a Youtube vid, it's not easy to hear the sound over the road noise but at around the 13 second mark it's quite clear.

    Cheers.

If its a turbo copen, I hear only the singing turbo tune , listen o.k.

Had you had changed the motor oil? could de airfilter loose? Check pipes..

Yep, just a small service, fluids & filters.
I took it back and they had a poke around but didn't fix it.
    It is the turbo version.

with new fresh motor oil , you often hear the singing turbo, thats ok.

But check oil and water always every 1500 miles.

Mine with an dx hks loader is really always a bit singing..:D short stops with the boff.

I'm used to the singing turbo, it's the fucking dwarf on percussion that's new.

Used to have a White Copen, but I sold it in 2023
Maybe they have installed a blow-off valve at the shop? :D

Yeah a friend had a lsiten today and decided it was probably the turbo.
Makes sense, it only happens after coming off the the throttle, and not at low revs.
I can't think why a service would make a change to the turbo noise though.

    It is a worry :(
