I'm looking at installing a reversing camera.

I'll need to splice a line from the reverse lights - does anyone know how I access the reversing light's power and ground lead, and their colours?

There is a little more info of my installation in THIS thread, but it doesn't look like I included much wiring info.

The wire you are after is Green / White

    To find it:
    1) remove the plastic cover that goes over the boot locking mechanism (just pull it up, there are 4 clips).
    2) you will see on your left, a hole in the rear panel with a lot of cables passing through it.
    3) TWO of them will be green / white.
    4) Which one to cut? There is no easy way to tell!!
I suggest cut one - does the reversing light still work? If yes, you (like me:-(() have cut the wrong one but at least you know which cable it is now.

For the ground, there is a grounding point just above the above mentioned hole.

I know it's an old post but it was very helpful for me, knowing it was one of the green/white wires.
It may be helpful for anyone else doing this, that I didn't need to cut the wires, I simply shaved of a tiny bit of insulation and stuck a tester on it.
50/50 chance and I too got the wrong one but just simply wrapped a bit of insulating tape on it.
I didn't cut the correct wire either, just removed some insulation, wrapped the trigger wire around it and soldered it.
