Hi, Today a nasty Vauxhall corsa broke the rear light casing (drivers side) of my beloved Copen (2007 1.3). Im having trouble finding a replacement so just wondering if anybody knows where would be best to source one?? Also do you know if you can get just the clear protective 'bubble' casing (don't know the technical term!) or whether I have to get a whole new unit as the bulbs inside are fine it is literally the external clear case that has been smashed? Any help much appreciated! - Becky
is it both lights on the driver's side you need? i.e brake and indicator http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Daihatsu-...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3382e3ba99 The lens isn't available separately as its a sealed unit from the outside perspective so water doesn't get in. If it had a seal that would likely fail after a while. re: high level brake light seal does!
which light.... Thanks for the link, I had a look on ebay and sites that breakdown and sell parts from deceased Copens already but no luck. It isn't my break light that's actually broken (should of been more clear, my apologies!) its the clear fog/reverse light below it that has gone which i'm guessing will be herder to get hold of.
the clear top half and red bottom half? Always a full clear one from Japan http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Daihatsu-...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3ca9091421 looking at scrappers prices the one from Japan might not be that expensive even after tax. Do you get charged import duty on second-hand items?
Hi, Went out in all the Snow in March and bought one for a Member from Singapore who in didn't want it in the end? If your interested please send me a PM. Ken.
Hi, I foolishly did a 60 Mile round trip in the Snow and paid for it out of my own money because they inferred they needed it urgently! You Live and Learn? Ken.
Oh Ken A big arrghhh for Ken everybody. Is it someone on this site? so we could whip they with a feather to within an inch of their turbo life.
