Rapid clicking from the indicator relay made me have a look around and the rear driver side indicator bulbs are no longer working.

Any brilliant ideas on how to remove the light cluster unit?

I think I can feel two large clips up behind the bumper but they are difficult to squeeze and how do you then extract the unit?

I’m pretty sure it’s covered in the service manual but there’s also a video of it being removed - I think it may be a Daihatsu/Japanese workshop video - and it’s not for the faint hearted.

    1. Take off the two outside 10mm bolts on the bumper.
    2. Pop off the clips near the lights and undo the 10mm bolts.
    3. Pull out the light and unclip.

If you need to replace bulbs in the lower lights... Reach down into the gap and squeeze the metal springs on each side and push from behind.

Its really simple and a 10min job at most.

Which ones are the real buggers to remove then ?
