Which Copen ? Might help to put the details in your signature so you don’t get the same response each time you post.

Does the car have a Cobra alarm/immobiliser fitted ?

The 660 doesn't have the Cobra alarm only the 1300. The 660 has a small black remote with lock/unlock buttons that is it.

According to my 2004 Daihatsu car price list booklet, an alarm was an option for the 659cc Copen.
It was called "Category 1 Alarm" and the R.R.P was £295.00.

I ve fitted a aftermarket central door locking from SPY,
I hav not connected the alarm/ indication lights etc,
But it works like a charm, I also linked the boot trunck, however this does take 4 seconds before it opens the boot,

The set cost depending on if you already have a central locking (if the passager doors lock when you lock the driver side) between 20-50 euro ;)
