    Hello Geert,
I think that the licence plate itself has the trapezoidal shape, it is like that on mine (sorry, I cannot take picture). Sure you will confirm on many pictures on this site.
But I don't know who is able to produce such a plate  If someone can giva a contact :)
Nice time with your car :D

I changed my rear place to an Irish legal "Japanese" plate. The dimensions are 330mmx178mm.

I shaved a small amount off the top of the plate to make it fit in the hole nicely. It sits on my old UK plate (which was the same size as the opening), and painted the yellow UK plate black.

I'd recommend using glue or screws on the UK plate, and glue only on the .be plate - no unsightly screw holes then :)

What have you done to get it covered?

Me? I painted the orange / yellow UK plate black and stuck my Irish plate on top. It sticks out a small bit, but looks far better given the awkward size of the opening for the dimensions of a legal Irish plate

Tanabe boot brace / rear strut tower. Not worth the money, does nothing.
