    Hello all,

I am pretty annoyed by the rattling of the roof of my Copen. I have found several tips on how to adjust it :
    - At the roof lock lever : This did not work for me since the adjustment screw is already at the end.
    - At the folding mechanism but that did not help either.

When I close the roof lock lever the roof displaces maybe just 1 mm. This is apparently not enough to press the roof firmly to the front window. I have removed the lock parts (3 torx screws each) ( see photo ) but there is no way to adjust the mounting of these locking parts to the roof or to the window sill. Basically the two parts are to close together and there is some backlash.

I would be very happy with tips to solve this .... do I need new rubber seal strips? Locklever.jpg

    Two questions.

Does it rattle with the roof down ?

Does it rattle when you have someone in the passenger seat ?

That does not make a difference, btw: It is not a loose seat belt.

There is no leakage for rain on the roof either. It would help if someone
could tell me what the gap between the roof panels ( filled by the roof rubbers ) is on their Copen. Maybe the rubbers are just not flexible enough. I also noticed that the roof lock lever has some backlash when it is closed.
    Thanks for your response.

Seatbelt was my initial thought as it drove me mad.

Also, wind out the jack in the boot so it’s a tight fit. That took me another 2 weeks to find. By the time I changed to an MX-5, the Copen was almost rattle free.
