My turbo went bust within 3 weeks of driving, any tips on where to get a new one and whats the price like? Also if lemon law covers it?
Lemon law should cover it but seller may give excuses and blame you for not using the car appropriately. So hopefully seller is honorable. If you really want to purchase a new turbo, you can try to approach http://www.sts.com.sg/ but they charge a premium just for bringing in the stock turbo for you. Another option is to get the after market one fro Garage R. They sell the HKS DX30Kai turbo kit for the copen but take note that the kit is not LTA compliant and you would have to get them to swap the manifold before inspection (according to them). Last option is to purchase secondhand. You may use sites like buyee.jp to place bids on yahoo auction japan. There are usually secondhand turbos on sale.
