Hi, I have a white copen. Unfortunately the turbo has gone! I want to put it up for sale. Is it realistic to expect someone to buy it in this condition? Obviously the price would and should reflect this. Could someone advise me what the best thing to do in this situation. Thanks Debbie
Hi Spose it's a bit like selling a house, to get the best price you need to get it looking good and fix things prior to selling it. You could always sell it as it is, but might be good idea to get a quote of how much it'd cost the new buyer to get repaired. Personally I wouldn't buy one that's faulty as there's so many about that are not. Good luck with whatever choice you make.
Thanks for that. Since the turbo problem, I've kinda fallen out of love wit my copen and just want a quick solution to the problem. Looks like I'll need to fork out money on it before thinking of selling it. Cheers
I bought one with a blown turbo and would do it again but I have a very handy man. I presume you live in Scotland by your user name! It really depends on how much you paid for it and how much your willing to spend getting it repaired.
That's interesting that you bought 1 with a blown turbo. Ha, ya I'm in Scotland. I'll maybe try it on autotrader and see what interest there is. Thanks
