Anyone got some of these poppers or know where to get them?

I’ve tried several similar looking poppers but they are either too large, just too long, or the toothy part is so vicious I’d probably break the panel if I needed to remove it again.

Managed to snap off two trying to get to the hidden wing bolt on the drivers side.

    I live in hope.......

I can recommend this. It's a lifesaver! 500X Plastic Car Door Trim Clip Bumper Rivet Screws Body Panel Push Fastener Kit | eBay

I’ve got a broken one too that’s still holding up. I think I’ll try the local indie motor shop as they often sell odds and ends. It’s a toss up between buying quantities you don’t need vs the higher markup for a smaller number at the indie.

if you really can't find them I could get them for you at a local auto store in Japan where I live, but some online retailer would probably be faster, easier. I have seen pieces like that. (I need a big square one for my Honda, can't find that square piece @ nearby auto parts stores, will have to go to my car dealer for it, grr)

Your local Daihatsu dealer (there still are some even in the UK, just look at www.daihatsu.co.uk) can order them for you.
I did it a few years ago and they were expensive, maybe 3 quid a piece.
Otherwise, I would look at chinese ebay auctions, they have lots of rivets and such for sale in bulk

Try an auto wreckers. Our locals charge about ~AUD2 for a handful if you collect them yourself...

I've ordered a bunch of these some time ago and the only regret I have is that I didn't ten years ago. They cost next to nothing and don't take up a lot of space.

Having something at hand that fits at the very moment you ruin one upon disassembly... Priceless!

Holy Smokes, that looks like a bag of LEGOs, but I'm sure it will have any fastener for any car in there :D

Thanks ronalddoes, I'll have to order something like that. Just 2 pieces cost me about 1 euro.
