I was hoping someone could help me. I lowered the roof on my Copen and noticed the passenger side window didn't go down as it usually does. So I closed the roof again and tried opening the window with the window switch. The passenger window stayed up but the passenger side quarter window went down. Now When ever I lower the roof The passenger window doesn't go down and whenever I use the passenger window switch it only opens and closes the passenger side quarter window. Does anyone have any idea why or does anyone know how to fix this? Any help would be appreciated and if all else fails I'll take it to the garage but I just want to make sure there isn't an easy fix before I do.
Does it make any noise or anything at all when you press the button? I think you are going to have to take the door card off to see what the crack is! My guess right now would be either the motor or the wiring in the door jam rubber boot.
Hello vfine, Do you keep pressure on the window switch long enough ? It is necessary to hold the switch on for 2 or 3 seconds before the window moves. Hope it is clear Have a good week-end.
There's a rabbit away there somewhere as there normally no way of controlling the little quarter light from the window switch. The control unit usually drops the quarter light first when lowering the roof. That isn't helpful but the Copen controls are somewhat arcane
