Hi guys do you know that the copen comes with an opening cover?
But when I bought my copen it did not come with it.
I was wondering where to can I buy the opening cover.

Opening cover is fitted to cover the expose area (just behind the seat) when the top is down. It even have a compartment in the boot for it. Check out the menu that is downloadable from this website.

It's called a "tonneau cover", and it was an optional extra with standard Copens.

I bought one from a Daihatsu dealer in the UK about 2 years ago, but it was very expensive (somewhere around £300). I rarely use mine now, as they're quite fiddly to put on and take off.

If you type "tonneau cover" in the copenworld search box on the front page, you'll find a few discussions about them.

Thanks for your reply. I don't think they sell it in Singapore...

Mark, ive never even opened mine up in 9 years.
It isnt necessary to use, im sure its more to do with aesthetics. But if it was to rain while i was driving, i would imagine getting out of the car to put it back in the boot, would be a hassle, rather than just stop and put the roof back on without getting out of the car.

    Hi Mark,

as the tonneau cover is a factory-fitted option, pleae carefully read through this thread if you would like to retrofit.
