Hi Rosie is due an oil change soon. My OH is capable of doing it for me, but wants to know if he needs any special tools to undo the sump plug. Also where can I get a filter from as I'll need one next time.
    Thanks
    Liz

Got my filters from e-bay and also the removal tool, used in conjunction with a 1/2" drive socket set.
It is fiddly but so rewarding to do it yourself & not get ripped off by garages
    Good luck.:)

    Its dead easy.

I would watch it being done on Youtube first. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unkc_iYtZ_I

The sump plug is standard and the filter and removal tool are over the counter items at your local motor factors.

Fortunately, the sump and filter are right at the front of the car.
