Hi, I am very interested in buying a Copen. It is a 0.7 2005 model and looks gorgeous!
I have been reading up on them and read that they require oil changes every 3000 miles, is this true? I commute 48 miles each day, how often does it require servicing & is this costly. I drive a Honda Type S GT at the moment so am hoping the running costs will be cheaper. Many thanks in anticipation.

    Hi Vcottam, Welcome to Copenworld,
It is correct that for the 659cc engine you need to change the oil every 3000 miles/6months. The oil filter needs replacing every 6000 miles/1 year.
Changing the oil filter isn't the easiest of jobs.

Try the later 1.3 model, slightly better MPG and a servicing is every 9,000/ 1 year.
And the oil filter is very accessable.

    Hope this helps.
