Wow, this thread seems to have got legs. I hope I'm not too late to place my bet that the problem is much simpler than you thought. When there's no-one in the passenger seat the seatbelt buckle rattles against the door so hook it up behind the guide. Have fun with the new toy. I also have a 57 and currently my only complaint is aching cheeks from the constant grinning while driving it.
