Hi all,we have just purchased a 57 plate copen and are looking forward to being part of the community. We are both involved with a north essex based multi marque car club called North Essex Rag tops and we do twenty five displays a year,now we can start promoting the copen alongside all of the other types of car in the club,(MGTF/MX5/Z BMW'S/HONDA'S/TR'S/SAAB'S etc. If there are any other owners in North Essex it would be great to meet up,chat etc as we are brand new to the copen i'm sure there's lots for us to learn about such a great fun little car Thanks in advance Gavin and Michaela
Hi Gavin & Micheala, welcome to Copenworld. As the Copen is relatively rare & spread out across the UK organising meets just for Copens in an area that lots of people can get too is difficult. That's why Kei Kars in the Park (KKITP) was set up. It's a club that covers all types of Kei (small Japanese) cars together. The club brings all the smaller single vehicle clubs together like Copenworld for events & meets. Resulting in a larger attendance, new friends to meet & different cars to see. We attend most Japanese car shows, as well as a yearly annual meet in September.
thanks Sounds great,we are allready looking forward to meeting up and learning more, Since our decision two days ago,we have seen two more cars one yellow and the other blue all within two miles of our home and we will make a point of speaking to the owners asap. Our local club which we are members of do alot of shows around Essex/Suffolk and Norfolk when i know where and when i'll post an invite if anyone would be intrested Many thanks Adam
