:-((Just spent £1100 on new Turbo (installed price) and no power. Its been suggested that the Catalytic converter may be blocked from the failed Turbo. Any similar experiences as a new Cat is like finding Hens teeth (Gold Plated Hens teethM

Hi Gina, welcome to Copenworld. Sorry to hear about your troubles.
Not heard about a catalytic converter problem before on the Copen.
However it is plausible that a problem with the catalytic converter could be blocked causing back pressure. Either that or the intercooler pipe hasn't been connected.
You would hear the turbo blowing though in that situation.

Thanks for that. My next problem is finding a repair manual so I can help my Dad find his way around the little beast. Where do I find the intercooler pipe? No whistling or blowing heard coming from new turbo area though. Gina

Hi Gina, once you've been a member for a few days you'll. Be able to download the service manual. It's in the directory tab at the top of the forum.

The intercooler is at the front middle of the car behind the grill. It's not a loose hose if there's no noise.

    Was a new turbo?
