    Greetings fellow Copen owners.
Not sure if this fix was posted before.

    Tools needed:
    Flat screwdriver

    Time it takes:
    Less than half an hour

I have a 2006 1.3 Copen and for the last year and a half my MIL light has been on.
I then bought an eBay ELM327 Bluetooth reader and it kept giving me the errors for cylinder misfire.
I replaced plugs and coilpacks but the same error came up.

So I did the following to fix the error:
    1. Open the boot/trunk and locate the roof ecu. It should be next to the tyre compressor on the right.
    2. Disconnect all 3 plugs from the roof ecu and close the boot.
    3. Start the car and let it idle for a minute.
    4. Switch the car off completely and open the boot manually. ( In the centre console there's a flap that needs to be opened with a flat screwdriver, once opened then pull the cord towards the gearlever. You'll hear a click if the boot is opened.)
    5. Reconnect the plugs into the roof ecu . ( It can only go in one way so you can't go wrong)
    6. Close the boot and start the car.

(The light will not go off immediately but at this point you could reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes.)

I drove to work and back disappointed thinking it didn't work but the following morning it was off and it has been off for the last three weeks.

    I hope this helps
